I was picking up a few things at Target today when a nearby mother said to her two small children, "Just scream if someone tries to take you," as she hurried away - far, far away - to grab a box of cereal. Was this a ridiculous scene, or perhaps the wisest words a parent can offer?

DeleteI find that really funny but I don't have kids so maybe I shouldn't laugh. I do have a very naughty 2 year old nephew and I can't imagine having to take him shopping. I think I'd be the one screaming for someone to take me away :). I don't know how my sister in law does it.

ReplyDeleteWell, that might teach the lady how to do it, make great children in the long run, but only if done properly.. And when its time to do it, it has got to be natural, just like every other thing in life...
